European Crisis Core PSP to get.. Nothing?

It seems that the European Crisis Core PSP is getting no extras, unlike the Japanese release which got the Special edition of the game, a mobile phone charm and a fancy outside box. Of course the Slim & Lite PSP silver with the FF logo on the back.

According to online stores like Play.com and Game.co.uk the only thing that comes with the PSP is the game, and the fact that its silver with the logo. Not only do Europe get sod all we get an ugly box too, see below the cut for a comparison.

HMV cutting HD-DVDs down

I have been a huge Blu Ray follower since day one but I can never resist a bargain. HMV have slashed the prices of their HD-DVDs to get rid of them. They will have to eventually put them down to £1 if nobody buys them, I mean I don’t blame them. HD-DVD is dead.
Anyway, you can pick up the likes of Heroes Season 1 for £12.99 and Planet Earth for £14.99.

If you don’t yet have a HD-DVD player then I suggest getting the HD-DVD addon for the Xbox 360 which apparently also works for PCs, so if you have a HD ready monitor then go to Game station and grab a HD-DVD player for £20

Review: Nokia N95 Silver

Phones are constanly changing, some for the good and some for the bad. The N95 is definately the good, if not, godly. When I first layed my hands on the N95 one of the most noticeable things about it was the weight, and the size. Its quite a chunky machine, but the beauty of it is that you can never fault it with these features:

  • Camera: 5 Megapixel (Two cameras)
  • NGage
  • USB 2.0
  • Bluetooth
  • Browser
  • WLAN: Wi-fi
  • 3.5 mm Audio Output Jack
  • MP3/AAC/AAC+/eAAC+/WMA player
  • 3G: HSDPA
  • TV Out

In the time that I’ve had this phone I’ve mostly used it for the MP3/camera as both my MP3 player and my camera have broken. I have never been so glad that technology failed me. The camera, in my eyes has a perfect picture. Both on screen and when I put it onto my laptop. The speakers from the phone are immensely loud, anything beyond 80% though sounds a bit crackly, but at 80% sound it is amazing. The headphones that come with the phone are extremely comfortable. The thing I love most about the N95 is that I can install apps and they work extremely well. I often use Skype via Wi-fi and I can call/message anyone in the world for free. The SatNav is utterly useless to me because I don’t have a car or a vehical of any sort. Plus 90% of my journeys are made to go to work and come back home and I don’t need a whole let of technology to tell me where to get lost or where to get a short cut. SatNav most likely encourages people to use their mobile phone while driving. + Excellent music phone + Takes amazing pictures + WiFi; No more costs for internet surfing + USB; No more lame cables made for specific mobiles + Audio jack; Any headphones can be used - Music can be cackly if listened to on the speakers - Not many areas have WiFi hotspots - GPS could be encouraging the use of mobiles while driving - Battery life can be dodgy at times OVERALL: I think this phone is a total godsend, but the going prices for an unlocked one are mighty high. So if you are on a budget I would suggest going to eBay or a classified site where you can pick up a second hand one for about £160
